With the sudden boom of cybercrimes not just in India, but all over the world, it is necessary to introspect upon the present policies and legislations dealing with Cyber Crimes and find ways to enhance these laws and policies to keep up with the ever evolving technology. In this fourth consecutive year, International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime and Cybersecurity, 2017 aims to examine and analyze the emerging Cyberlaw, Cybercrime and Cybersecurity trend of today’s times. This Conference promises to work and contribute towards evolving cyber security law jurisprudence with international stakeholders and collate international best practices concerning emerging jurisprudence concerning Cyberlaw, Cybercrime and Cybersecurity and further seeks to engage in distinct deliberations with stakeholders to help collate common universally accepted principles concerning Cyberlaw, Cybercrime and Cybersecurity

This conference will not only deal with contentious issues and challenges faced by the police and law enforcement agencies as also lawyers, in the detection, investigation and conviction of cybercrimes and financial frauds, but also look into the expanse of struggle that tech companies or companies with a considerable online presence, face whilst dealing with data protection and security and bring forth ways on how to tackle them. Given the increased global cyber security breaches that are taking place, the discussions at the Conference assume far more significance.

The conference will further sensitize various agencies about the newly emerging trends in the context of newly emerging technologies like Internet of Things, Dark Net, Blockchains, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data and bring forth suggested policy changes which need to be made in order to tackle the emerging technological paradigms. Emerging issues in the arena of Cyberlaw, Cybercrime and Cyber Security will be tackled in 51 engaging sessions over a span of 2 days [16th-17th November] at India International Centre, New Delhi.

This conference has been hailed each year as one of the biggest and most unique conferences in the world which looks into this area. Over the last few years, this Conference has emerged as a successful international event with an array of crème de la crème speakers. The Conference has been looking upto the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India for guidance. The International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity 2014 was inaugurated by the current Chief Justice of India Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dipak Misra.  The International Conference in 2015 was inaugurated by the then Chief Justice of India Hon’ble Mr. Justice T. S. Thakur. The International Conference 2016 was once again inaugurated by the current Chief Justice of India Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dipak Misra. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Kurian Joseph, Judge, Supreme Court of India was kind enough to chair a session on cybercrime at 2016 Conference. In addition, the Valedictory Sessions of the International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity, 2014, 2015 and 2016 were addressed by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Madan B. Lokur, Judge, Supreme Court of India.
